Learn about our mission, vision, and journey empowering Nigerian youth in the diaspora
The Nigerian Diaspora Youth Ambassador (NDYA) was established in 2018 as a platform to represent, uplift and advocate for Nigerian youths living abroad.
At its helm is Amb. David Victor Alozie, a committed youth advocate with a track record of student-leadership and diaspora representation. Prior to his NDYA presidency, he served in leadership roles within student organizations in Turkey.
Under his guidance, NDYA has raised critical issues affecting Nigerians overseas.
The organisation has also been vocal about human rights and welfare issues, flagging ill-treatment and deportation of Nigerian students overseas; pushing for improved protections, equity and fair treatment abroad.
Beyond advocacy, NDYA under Amb. David Victor Alozie fosters youth development through data-driven programs, platforms for expression — from education to recreation — and initiatives to bridge diaspora experiences with national development.
As a leader, Amb. David Victor Alozie has repeatedly reaffirmed NDYA's commitment: to be the authentic "mouthpiece of Nigerian youths in the diaspora," amplifying their concerns, protecting their rights, and launching initiatives that empower them globally.
